What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an identity and access management security method that requires two forms of authentication to access resources and data.
At PerpVia, users can secure their accounts using the following methods:
- Google Authenticator Code
- SMS Verification Code
- Email Verification Code
These verification methods can be used for login, withdrawals, and changing security settings to maximize the protection of your PerpVia.COM account.
How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
You can set up 2FA using the PerpVia website by following the steps below:
- Log in to your PerpVia account.
- In "Profile," click "Security Center" from the dropdown menu, or click the link https://www.perpvia.com/member/security
- Choose the verification method, then click "Set Up".
- Google 2FA: Scan the barcode or manually enter the key; the verification code will appear in the authenticator and refresh every 30 seconds.See article for details:How to Set Up Google Authenticator?
SMS 2FA: Enter your phone number to receive the verification code on your mobile device.
Email 2FA: Enter your email address to receive the verification code via email. - Enter the verification code on the PerpVia page and verify it.
- Complete any additional security verifications required by the system.
