What is Google Authenticator? Google Authenticator is a dynamic password tool that works similarly to SMS dynamic verification. Once linked, it generates a dynamic verification code every 30 seconds. This code can be used for security verification during login, withdrawals, and modifying security settings. Here’s how to set it up:
Step One:
Go to the official website https://www.perpvia.com/, log in to your account, click on Personal Center at the top right corner, then click Security Center.
Step Two:
Click the Set Up button next to the Google Authenticator label.
Step Three:
Follow the three steps shown in the image below: download Google Authenticator – add the secret key in Google Authenticator – click to send the verification code to your linked email/phone number, enter the verification code, then enter the 6-digit code displayed in Google Authenticator, and click Submit to complete the binding of Google Authenticator.
(Note: Please be sure to keep your Google Authenticator secret key safe to avoid issues if you change or lose your phone!)
Important Notes:
- Some Android phones do not come with Google Play Services pre-installed and require you to manually install Google Framework Services. You can search for tools such as "Google Installer" in your phone manufacturer's official app store (note: this is not an official app, please exercise your own judgment regarding its security and take care to protect your personal information).
- Some phones need to be restarted after enabling Google Play services.
- After enabling two-factor authentication, users will need to enter a verification code when logging in, withdrawing assets, or generating withdrawal addresses.
