Asset Transfer Instructions – perpvia

On PerpVia, your assets are distributed across different accounts. This article explains the purpose of each account, the transfer rules between them, and how to complete an asset transfer on both the web and app platforms.

1. Account Types and Transfer Rules

PerpVia has multiple accounts corresponding to different business scenarios. Funds can be freely transferred between accounts, but deposits and withdrawals can only be made through the Funding Account and Spot Account.

Remember two rules:
1. Deposit / Withdrawal: can only be done in the Funding Account and Spot Account.
2. Fund Transfer: all accounts can freely transfer funds between each other without restrictions.

Example: You want to do contract trading, but the USDT you deposited is in the Funding Account — in this case, you just need to transfer funds from the "Funding Account" to the "Contract Account." Similarly, to withdraw funds, you must first transfer funds from the Contract Account or Copy Trading Account back to the Funding Account or Spot Account before initiating a withdrawal.

2. Asset Transfer Operation

Asset transfers can be performed on both the web and app platforms, with the core steps being the same: select the currency, source account, destination account, and amount, then confirm.

Web Platform Web Transfer Steps

After logging into the PerpVia official website, follow these steps:

1. Click "Assets" at the top right of the page to open the asset menu (marked ①).

2. Click "Transfer" in the menu to go to the transfer page (marked ②).

3. Select the currency to transfer (e.g., USDT, marked ③).

4. Set the source account (From) and destination account (To) (marked ④); click the middle swap button ⇄ to quickly switch between them (marked ⑤).

5. Enter the amount to transfer, or click "Transfer All" to transfer the entire available balance (marked ⑥).

6. After confirming everything is correct, click "Confirm" to complete the transfer (marked ⑦).

Switching to other account operations: You can also access any account page (Funding, Spot, Contract, Copy Trading) from the left menu under "Accounts" and perform transfers within that account by clicking "Transfer."

App Platform App Transfer Steps

Open the PerpVia App and tap "Assets" in the bottom navigation to enter the asset page:

1. On the asset page, tap the "Transfer" button (left image marked ①).

2. Set the source account (From) (marked ②); tap the swap button ⇅ on the right to switch the source and destination accounts.

3. Set the destination account (To) (marked ③).

4. Select the currency to transfer (marked ④).

5. Enter the amount to transfer, or tap "All" (marked ⑤).

6. After confirming everything is correct, tap "Confirm" to complete the transfer (marked ⑥).

Transfers are instant and free of charge: Transfers between accounts are internal platform operations, instantaneous and free of any fees.

3. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why can't I withdraw directly from the Contract Account?
Withdrawals can only be initiated from the Funding Account and Spot Account. Please transfer funds from the Contract Account to the Funding Account or Spot Account before withdrawing.

Q: How long does a transfer take? Are there any fees?
Transfers between accounts are instantaneous and free of any fees.

Q: Why does the transferable amount fluctuate when I have open positions?
When there are open positions in the Contract Account, the transferable amount will fluctuate in real-time with position profit and loss. The actual transfer amount is based on the submitted amount at the time of transfer.
